Ruger LCP .380 with laser Holster for Concealed Carry

I am very happy to let everyone know that I have finally found a very convenient concealed carry holster for the Ruger LCP .380 with Crimson Trace Laser. When I first bought the Ruger LCP, I also bought the common Kel-Tech pocker holster that allows you to keep it tucked away inside your pants pocket safely.

If you have been looking for a holster for your Ruger LCP with or without the optional Crimson Trace Laser, you will know exactly what I am talking about since the pocket holster seems to be the only available holster for the Ruger LCP.

I really do not like carrying my LCP in my pocket with my keys, change, and whatever else I have in my pockets at the time. I am not knocking the Kel-Tec pocket holster – I like it and I am glad I have it if needed, but I have been searching for quite a while to find a concealed side-carry or back-carry holster for the Ruger LCP with laser.

Since the Ruger LCP is a small handgun, it has been a bit of a challenge to find something that is just the right size for the gun. Also, I have the optional Crimson Trace laser attached to it, so that adds to the complexity of finding a holster that will work well with this handgun.  Well I found it at Lake City Holsters  .

The Holster is called the Intimidator by ProTech.  (I am not being endorsed by them to write this post – I just love the holster).  Here is what I like about this holster:

The “Intimidator”- Belt or Clip on Hip / Side Gun Holster by Pro Tech

Side Gun Holsters

This holster is Ambidextrous, making it easy to use left or right handed. Simply move clip and thumb break from one side of the gun holster to the other.

ProTech’s gun holsters have a webbing loop behind the metal clip for your belt to easily slip through (up to 2″ wide), or if you prefer, just clip the gun holster to your pants.  This can be clipped outside or inside your pants for concealed carry situations.

The outer layer of the gun holster is Cordura® Ballistic Nylon, and the inside has a vinyl vapor barrier (to keep moisture off your gun), foam padding and nylon lining.

Gun holster is stitched with strong bonded nylon and double stitched at pressure points.

Edges turned under to prevent fraying. All velcro on gun holster is hidden by webbing to prevent foreign debris.

This holster has an Extra Magazine Pouch for your spare ammo.

Price:  $19.95 – about $21.95 with shipping

I love this holster, it fits the Ruger LCP .380 with the Crimson Trace laser perfectly, it carrys close to the body, and the gun is easy to pull from the holster without any hang-up.  The additional magazine pocket is great for your change of ammo, and will accomodate clips with the finger grip extensions.  I highly recommend this holster.

Crimson Trace Laser Grip For Ruger’s LCP

The new LG-431 Lasergrips are set to be an essential tool for Ruger LCP owners as they become proficient with this tiny polymer pistol.  The instinctive front-activation button means shooters grab the gun with their normal shooting grip and the laser will be instantly projected wherever the gun is aimed.  This “instinctive activation” provides immediate feedback and and gives shooters confidence their shots will hit their target.

Ruger LCP Compact .380 Auto

Michigan passed the law that citizens are able to take handgun classes and apply for a CPL – Concealed Pistol License – I took my CPL class and have been looking at a few semi-automatic firearms that I think would make sense to carry.  There are a few I would recommend but it really all depends on your preference and daily activities.  After careful consideration of a few, firearms I purchased a Ruger LCP Compact .380.  Here are some of the details about the gun, and my reasons for purchasing it.

Ruger LCP 380 ACP

The Ruger® LCP™ is a compact, rugged, reliable .380 Auto firearm. I chose this firarm to carry daily for my own personal protection.  When I first handled the gun at a firing range, I was surprised how light the Ruger .380 was.  It weighs just about 9.40 ounces (with an empty magazine), making it ideal for all-day carry.  Compared to a few other firearms that were in the running, the LCP just felt right to me.
